How It Works
Pre-Production
If we begin with an email, a phone conversation is a great next step to get to know Damon Meyer, learn more about his background and talk freely about your interests and questions about this unique service. A work list will be provided to identify key points and stories you want to share on your video. As your videographer, Meyer will provide wardrobe advice and optimize the scene. There are “Looks”.. dramatic, natural or a mix. We have the newest lighting and camera equipment for this fun act of creation.
In addition, if you have old printed photos they can be digitized for safe keeping, distribution, and repairs.
The Video Shoot
The goal is a pleasant and productive shoot day. Meyer will arrive with a clean, modern production vehicle and excellent equipment. A shooting plan will be deployed with the goals of capturing excellent visuals and clean audio with minimal clutter and fuss.
We shoot with a high-quality 4K cinema camera and modern LED lighting. Meyer’s cinema camera delivers a great image, and the emergence of LED lights have allowed more flexibility and beautiful flesh tones.
Editing
As your videographer and editor, Meyer has a critical eye and will produce a professional video. Your video will be coded properly, allowing watchability on a variety of devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. Digitized copies of your photos will can be emailed but also will be delivered physically. Some photos can be repaired and enhanced for clarity.
PROCESSING AND DELIVERY
Your video Masters will delivered on two hard drives, to be viewed and stored in two different, safe and known locations for your long term archive. Inexpensive SD photocards can be distributed throughout your family network for carefree viewing and storage as well. Assistance for Cloud Storage setup is available.
